WILLIAM G. (BILL) WITCHER, JR. is an attorney in Decatur, Georgia, where his practice includes estate planning, probate, administration of estates and trusts, probate litigation, corporations, limited liability companies and business planning. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in the Business School from Georgia Tech and his J.D. from Emory University School of Law.
A member of the State Bar of Georgia and The Florida Bar, Bill is Chairman of the DeKalb Estate Planning Council and has served on various committees in the Fiduciary Law Section of the State Bar of Georgia. He is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. Bill was also named one of Georgia’s “Super Lawyers” by Atlanta Magazine in 2007.
Aside from his law practice, Bill is past president of the Stone Mountain Rotary Club and a former member of the Board of Directors of the Perimeter College Foundation. He is a frequent speaker on various Estate Planning topics at civic and professional groups including the Institute of Continuing Legal Education in Georgia. His civic involvement includes various youth sports teams, home owner associations, church committees and political campaigns.
